How Much Do You Spend On Beauty Products? La Roche-Posay Physiological Cleansing Milk - Review

As I've mentioned previously, I'm very naughty & far too lazy to bother with a skincare routine, preferring to use a make up removal wipe at the end of the day and not much else.

For the past 10 or so days I've been trying out La Roche-Posay Physiological Cleansing Milk* 

At £11.50 its quite pricey - and spending over a tenner on one skincare product is something I would never normally contemplate. I must admit I am slowly converting to the idea that perhaps some products actually do live up to the hype that surrounds them. 

For your money you get 200ml bottle which is a fair size that should last you well into 6 weeks. My maths isn't that great but 42 days divided by £11 works out approximately 3p a blob. When I think of it like that perhaps in the past I had been a bit of a pricey product miser.

It comes with an easy-to-use pump lid and you simply squirt a small amount of product onto a cotton pad and use on the face as directed. La Roche-Posay also boasts that it removes waterproof make up too, although I haven't had the chance to put this to the test yet.

The formula is a nice consistency; not too thick that it takes ages to sink in and not too thin that it dribbles down your face on application. It smells divine - even my usually indifferent boyfriend pointed out that my "face smelt nice" after using it for the first time. (...he is such a charmer!)

I have fairly sensitive skin and as this cleansing milk is soap-free, alcohol-free, parabem-free and has no colorant, it made a nice change for me to be able to use a lotion which had a pleasant, mild fragrance that did not bring me out in blotchy irritated red mess. 

My face was left super soft and moisturised. For someone so sceptical of high priced products I must admit I was mightily impressed and would happily depart with my hard earned cash to purchase this again.

Who knows, maybe I'll finally even dump my wet one's...!
